Saturday, March 21st
1 pm - 4pm

In this poetry workshop, you will  explore unique approaches and techniques to bear-trapping a dragon (no animals will be hurt during this training, just mythical creatures - and when I say mythical creatures, I mean you). Sometimes the dragons are ourselves. Our stories maybe the most challenging thing to harness and release. We will draw inspiration through film, art & writing to practice creative writing and personal storytelling. Each poet will leave with a strong understanding of spoken word poetry, original writing, and tools and resources to carry on dragon hunting. The workshop will end with a half-hour for an open mic from our attendees and instructor.

Open to the community and persons at any writing level. We strive to cultivate a safe, brave and progressive space for our workshop attendees. We are offering 25 limited spots for this workshop..
